Middle School Tech Bottle Rockets

Sixth-grade students in Tech Class at Canandaigua Middle School put their creativity and engineering skills to the test by designing and launching their own bottle rockets! Through this hands-on project, students explored principles of aerodynamics, force, motion and air pressure while learning how a rocket’s design can affect its flight. They also practiced problem-solving, testing their ideas and making adjustments to improve performance. It was an exciting way to bring science, technology, engineering and math to life!
