Board of Education

The Board of Education invites all residents to share their thoughts regarding issues involving the Canandaigua City School District. The Board has established a specific e-mail address for District residents to offer input, thoughts and constructive criticisms directly to the Board:

As elected representatives of the community, the nine-member Board of Education strives to ensure the best possible program for all students at the most reasonable cost. Board members are elected to five-year terms. They are volunteers who serve without pay. Board members must follow New York State law in the provision of an educational program and all other aspects of the school district.
