Welcome to The SOUND! - Please Read

Dear SOUND! Students and Families,

Welcome back to another awesome year of music making at CA! Our first rehearsal last night was fantastic - bravo to all for playing so fearlessly. This is going to be an outstanding group! As I told students last night - this group is one of the things I enjoy most about every school year! There was some great enthusiasm right out of the gates last night!!!

General Info for All - Please Read

• We have a VERY limited number of rehearsals. Thank you all for making these a priority! We will work hard, and we will work fast.
• Students need a band instrument specific LYRE for home games. I spoke about these at practice last night. Mobile Music usually stocks these, but they are available online too. The school will provide the hard plastic folios, rings, and sleeves.  
• Student dress code for performances is some sort of SOUND! shirt on top, and blue jeans on the bottom.
  • The price I paid for shirts this year, is exactly what I am charging for shirts. I have a limited number of sizes available, and more on the way. Cash works best for this transaction, but I could also accept Venmo in person.
    • Short Sleeve T - $20
    • Long Sleeve T - $24
    • Crewneck Sweatshirt - $30
    • Hoodie Sweatshirt - $34
• Volunteers will be needed to help with dinner setup and cleanup on the nights of home games.
  • It has also become a tradition that a couple of students sign up to bring in a dessert for each home game.
  • Signups for all of this will come through ParentSquare.
• As promised to students - all of our music is scanned to pdf and available here in google drive. For copyright reasons - students must be logged into their School Google Account to access these files.
