The goal of the Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes is to provide professional counseling and support services to individuals, children, and families to improve the quality of their life at home and in the community.

Great news, the Canandaigua Family Support Center is now open for referrals!
The Family Support Center is a FREE, confidential, short-term counseling support for district students and their families.
Drawing on the strengths of families, we help facilitate better communication through stronger connections and family relationships. Our solution-focused approach and co-therapist model support school success and positive behavioral growth.
For more information and/or to request a referral, please contact your child’s school counselor, school social worker, or school psychologist.

The Finger Lakes Counseling & Recovery Agency provides comprehensive treatment services for substance use and other health-related disorders.

The Ontario County Mental Health Center (OCMHC) provides evaluation, treatment and referral services to residents of Ontario County. Services are provided to children as young as age 5, and adults throughout the lifespan. Clinic services are confidential, except where confidentiality is prohibited by law.

EPIC ZONE: A Youth Clubhouse- This program offers a safe space where youth have the opportunity for development, empowerment, and support.
Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition- A community coalition that implements prevention strategies and provides educational outreach on variety of topics including the drug epidemic.

Canandaigua Academy Health, a class typically taken in 10th grade, includes a series of lessons from teen Mental Health First Aid on how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among their friends and peers.
