No-Cost School Meals

Canandaigua Schools will be offering a meal certification option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the 2026-27 school year.

All students enrolled at all Canandaigua Schools are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

In order to track the benefit of this program and because the information provided helps our district in obtaining other grants and aid, the district will be requesting all families to complete an income eligibility form at the beginning of the school year.

If you have any questions, please contact us at (585) 396-3700.

Note that CEP participation in future school years may depend on continued availability of Federal and State funds. No further action is required by families. Any additional meals, extra milk, and a la carte snack items are not free and will still need to be purchased. Students will need money on account or cash for any of these additional purchases. Remember that you can see your student’s account history and add money to their account at My School Bucks:
