Brand Family - Introduced July 2024
The Canandaigua City School District introduced a temporary Gray Wolf logo in November 2023. The final logos have been released in July 2024 with new Gray Wolf designs with a custom font and traditional designs with the interlocking CA and block C.
Trademark
Everything within the Canandaigua Brand Family (logos, designs, fonts) is trademarked and exclusively for use of the Canandaigua City School District. It is the expectation of the Canandaigua City School District that the Brand Family is used with fidelity and without modification.
Design Features
The gray wolf head design and gray wolf paw logo each have a subtle outline of Canandaigua Lake.
Traditional Designs
The committee recognized the importance of choice and options of traditional logos. The Block C, CA, and new block C crest with 1791 are variations that can be used. 1791 is the year that Canandaigua Academy was founded.
FONT & BANNERS
The font is a custom font made for Canandaigua. The C and A are purposely larger to symbolize 'CA.' The cherry colored banner under the test has the shape to represent fangs at each end. The banners can be customized.
Retiring Previous Logos
The brand family of logos shared on this page are the logos to be used moving forward by the Canandaigua City School District. Previously approved logos should no longer be in use.
