Primary art teacher, Mrs. Austin, read Felix Travels Back in Time by Annette Langen and Constanza Droop with her Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) art students. The students gathered around the "campfire" inside the "cave" and learned about the Stone Age. During their next class, students planned out their cave paintings and then they painted!

Universal Pre-Kindergarten is a program for four-year-olds that is available for residents of the Canandaigua City School District. Participation in a Pre-Kindergarten Program is not required for a student to be eligible for kindergarten the following year, although it is great preparation for Kindergarten. Children who turn four years old on or before December 1, 2019, are eligible for UPK. Resgistration ends February 28, 2019.
