Michele Reynolds named as the
Assistant Principal of Canandaigua Primary School
The Canandaigua City School District is pleased to announce that Michele Reynolds has been selected as the next Assistant Principal of Canandaigua Primary School, replacing Mrs. Heidi Robb. We wish Mrs. Robb all the very best as she embarks on her next adventure as the principal of Victor Primary School, and we thank her for all she has done to positively impact our school.
Mrs. Reynolds has worked for the Canandaigua City School District since September 2000, and her experiences include being an elementary teacher and 5th Grade Level Leader, a middle school technology integrator, and our primary school enrichment specialist. After completing her administrative internship, Mrs. Reynolds has been the Interim Dean of Students at Canandaigua Primary School.

She works well with our primary students, parents, and staff.” stated Mrs. Emily Bonadonna, Principal of Canandaigua Primary School. “She has the ability to set high academic standards for our students while making school a fun and inviting environment.”
Mrs. Reynolds shared her excitement about the new position. “I am beyond honored to continue my career here in Canandaigua as the new assistant principal of Canandaigua Primary School. It is such an incredibly special place to work! I look forward to partnering with families and supporting our youngest Braves for many years to come.”
Mrs. Reynolds graduated from Keuka College and earned her Master’s Degree at St. John Fisher College. She also has an extension for certification in Gifted and Talented Education from Nazareth College. Most recently, she completed the Wayne-Finger Lakes Leadership Institute and received her administrative certificate from SUNY Brockport.
Mrs. Reynolds will begin her position as assistant principal on July 1, 2021. Mrs. Reynolds lives in Newark with her husband, Tom, and their two daughters.
Mrs. Bonadonna has been a classroom teacher at the primary levels for 8 years. She co-taught as a special education teacher for a year before becoming a district literacy coach for one year. This year she is serving as the Principal for UPK, K, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. She has her bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities from SUNY Geneseo and her Master’s degree in Literacy from SUNY Albany. She earned her School Building Leader and School District Leaders certification at the University of Rochester.
Mrs. Robb will begin at the PES in late October 2018. Mrs. Robb has been in education for 17 years and most recently was a math coach at Victor Intermediate School. She also taught 4th and 6th grades. She attended SUNY Fredonia for her bachelor's degree and SUNY Albany for her Master's degree. Mrs. Robb received her administrative certificate from SUNY Oswego. Mrs. Robb is the assistant principal for the primary school.

Due to NYS capacity limitations, tickets are required to attend our Section V Boys Lacrosse Semi-Final game on 6/12 at 11 a.m. These tickets have been distributed to the families of our student-athletes, our opponent, and our students.
Tickets remain for the Girls’ Section V Semi-Finals vs. Brighton on Saturday and can be purchased upon entry to Braves Field for $5.
