Your girl is blasting off to Kindergarten soon... We can help her reach for the stars! Join us and learn how to launch your Girl Scout journey! Upon registration as a Girl Scout and completion of activities, girls will receive their very first patch! Girl Scouts serves girls in grades K-12. Bark for the Park
Tuesday, April 30- Canandaigua Academy Auditorium- Doors Open at 6 p.m.
A fun canine fashion show to benefit Canandaigua Canine Campus will be held Tuesday, April 30. Admission is $10 per person and children 5 and under are free. Proceeds raised will underwrite new amenities and improvements for the two acre off-leash dog park. For more information, contact Barbara Landon. This event is sponsored by the Canandaigua Academy Gemini Leadership class.
Mobile Food Pantry
Friday, May 3- 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Thompson Health Pole Barn
In partnership with Foodlink, UR Medicine Thompson Health is sponsoring a Mobile Pantry, like a market on wheels, for community members and associates in need. Perishable foods will be available free of charge. Staff from Foodlink and Thompson volunteers will unload, set-up and distribute the food directly to clients. Participants must sign in and be 18 years old. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and Thompson Health cannot guarantee enough food for all attending.
Day of Wellness
Saturday, May 4- 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Cobblestone Arts Center
Cobblestone Arts Center will host its second annual Day of Wellness on Saturday May 4, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm, exploring holistic and integrative approaches to stress management. The $25 registration fee includes lunch and three classes, and can be paid in advance at cobblestoneartscenter.com. Cobblestone is located at 1622 State Route 332, Farmington.
Cobblestone Arts Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of the communityfor all ages and abilities through art, education, and participation. Cobblestone offers an Arts Dayhab Program, Community Classes, an After School Program and live theater, music and dance in its Performing Arts Center.
