Counseling

Your school counselors are here for everyone!
We are here for every student, every teacher, and every parent who is part of our school community.

Counseling Program Components

Classroom Guidance: Developmental Guidance is a wonderful way to assist all students with their social, emotional and intellectual growth. This is best accomplished through regularly visiting classrooms and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons on topics that empower students and promote well-being.

Consultation: We talk with teachers, school staff, outside agencies and parents about a variety of topics to support healthy development and growth of all children.

Counseling: We talk with students individually and meet with students in small groups such as Friendship Groups, Family Change Groups, Lunch Groups, Grief & Loss Groups.

The purpose of a Comprehensive School Counseling program is to promote and enhance the learning process of all students. One of the ways this can be achieved is through a guidance curriculum that focuses on three important domains: academic development, career development and personal/social development.
