MLK, Jr. Day Ceremony
First Congregational Church, Canandaigua
The City of Canandaigua's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day ceremony features Canandaigua Academy Drama students reading excerpts from "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" and the Canandaigua Elementary Choir. The annual community event is an inspiring tribute to this great American.
The event begins at Noon. However, if you would like to sing in the Community Choir (enthusiasm is all that's required), please come at 11am for the rehearsal of "Precious Lord".
A free light lunch is served to all attendees after the celebration.
