CA's Counseling Communication

*Seniors*

If you are college bound, please be aware of application deadlines.  Seniors should be finalizing their list of colleges, checking the Naviance website to make sure their letters of recommendation are in, and uploading their revised resume into Naviance.

Please see Mrs. Sabia in the Counseling Center to complete your senior survey regarding the college you will be attending in the Fall of 2010.  By providing this information, Mrs. Sabia will then know where to send your final high school transcript.

In addition, don't delay on filing your FAFSA paperwork in order to receive financial aid.

Information regarding various scholarships are available in NAVIANCE.

*Sophomore and Juniors*

There are scholarships available for Juniors.  Check out the bin in the Counseling Center or in Naviance.

*College/Military Reps Visiting CA*

*Students interested in meeting with the college/military reps should sign up through Naviance to get a pass to attend.

*Safe School Helpline*

Canandaigua offers students, parents, and school staff access to the Safe School Helpline. This resource is available 24 hours/seven days a week and is free and confidential. “Let us know anonymously when you witness any activity that threatens the safety of your school. We’re here to help.”
